Custom-designed iOS and Android apps from one Flutter codebase

Flutter Development

Flutter is Google's toolkit for building iOS and Android apps from one codebase, written in Dart. It draws the whole interface itself, so a custom design looks the same on both platforms, and it compiles to native code for each. We build Flutter apps connected to Firebase or to your own API, with a structure that keeps the app manageable as features are added. Our team builds cross-platform apps only, so if separate native apps would serve you better, we will say so before work starts.

What We Deliver

What's included in Flutter Development.

๐ŸŽจ

Custom UI

Screens built to your brand and design, with the same look on iOS and Android, or each platform's own styling where users expect it.

๐Ÿ“ฑ

iOS and Android from one codebase

Features and screens written once for both platforms. Camera, location, payments and similar features come from maintained plugins; if one needs custom native code, we tell you at scoping.

๐Ÿ”Œ

Backend and API integration

Login, data sync, push notifications and offline use, connected to Firebase or to a REST or GraphQL API we build in Laravel or Node.js.

โš™๏ธ

State management

App structure built on Riverpod or BLoC, so features can be added and tested later without untangling the whole app.

๐Ÿš€

Builds and store release

Automated builds with GitHub Actions, app signing, and submission to the App Store and Google Play under your own accounts.

๐Ÿงช

Testing

Unit and widget tests on the core logic and screens, plus checks on real iOS and Android phones before each release.

Our Process

How the work runs, step by step.

1

Scope

We list the screens, users, device features and backend the app needs, and check that Flutter is a good fit.

2

Design

We turn your designs, or ours, into a first set of Flutter screens you can try on your own phone.

3

Build

We build features in stages, connect them to the backend, and share test builds as each part is ready.

4

Test

Automated tests run in the build pipeline, and we test by hand on iOS and Android to catch platform-specific issues.

5

Release and support

We submit to both stores, deal with any review feedback, and stay on for fixes and new features if you need us.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Flutter Development.

Flutter suits most business apps, such as booking, ordering, field staff and customer account apps, and one codebase is usually cheaper to build and maintain than two. Separate native apps are the better call for games, heavy 3D or AR, close integration with the operating system such as watch apps or home-screen widgets, or when you need new iOS and Android features as soon as Apple and Google release them. We build cross-platform apps, and if yours needs native, we will tell you at scoping.

Both suit most business apps. Flutter is a good fit when the app has a heavily custom design, or your team prefers Dart. React Native is the natural choice if your website or developers already use React or JavaScript. We build with both and recommend one after scoping.

Yes. Flutter can also build web, Windows, macOS and Linux apps, and much of the business logic carries over. That works well for internal tools and dashboards. For a public website that needs to rank in Google, a regular web build is usually the better fit.

Firebase gets login, a database and push notifications running quickly and suits many apps at the start. Your own backend in Laravel or Node.js gives more control over data, business rules and running costs as usage grows. We can also connect the app to a backend you already have.

We prepare the builds, screenshots and store listings and submit them under your own Apple and Google developer accounts, so the app and its reviews stay with you. You also get the full source code.
