AWS set up in your own account, documented and handed over

AWS Infrastructure

Shared hosting suits many sites, but busy apps, large file storage and custom server needs can outgrow it. We set up AWS for web applications: servers on EC2 or Lightsail, a managed MySQL or PostgreSQL database on RDS, file storage on S3 with CloudFront in front, and the backups, access rules and alerts that keep it manageable. Everything is built in your own AWS account and documented, so your team or another developer can run it. We can also stay on for changes after launch.

What We Deliver

What's included in AWS Infrastructure.

๐Ÿ—๏ธ

Documented, repeatable setup

Each server, database and access rule is written down, with setup scripts where they help, so the environment can be rebuilt or handed to another team.

๐Ÿ“ˆ

Sized for your traffic

We start with the server size your app needs today and plan how it grows: a larger instance first, then load balancing and auto scaling when traffic justifies them.

๐Ÿ”’

Locked-down access

Databases in private subnets, security groups that open only the ports in use, and IAM users that get only the permissions each person needs.

๐Ÿ’พ

Databases, storage and backups

RDS with automated backups, S3 for uploads and media, and a restore test before launch so you know the backups work.

๐Ÿ“Š

Monitoring and alerts

CloudWatch alarms for high CPU, low disk space and failed health checks, sent by email to whoever looks after the app.

๐Ÿ’ฐ

Cost control

Right-sized instances, S3 lifecycle rules and AWS budget alerts, plus a plain explanation of what each line on the bill is for.

Our Process

How the work runs, step by step.

1

Assess

We look at your app, traffic, data and current hosting, and recommend a setup with an estimated monthly AWS cost.

2

Build

We create the network, servers, database and storage in your AWS account, starting with a staging environment.

3

Migrate

We move the app and data, test them on the new setup, and switch DNS during a scheduled window at a quiet hour.

4

Secure and monitor

We tighten access, turn on encryption and backups, and set up alarms and budget alerts.

5

Hand over

You get the documentation, and all access stays in your account. Your team takes over, or we stay on for updates and changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about AWS Infrastructure.

For many small business sites, shared hosting or a single VPS is enough and costs less. AWS makes sense when you need to add capacity quickly, store large amounts of files, run background workers or meet a client's hosting requirement. If you don't need it, we'll tell you.

It depends on server size, the database, storage and data transfer. We give you an estimate before the build, set budget alerts in your account, and adjust server sizes once real usage is known.

We plan the move so downtime is short and scheduled. The app is set up and tested on AWS first, the data is copied across, and DNS is switched at a quiet hour. How long the switch takes depends mostly on the size of your database.

You do. Everything runs in your account under your billing, and we work through IAM access you can remove at any time. The documentation and any setup scripts are yours too.

Your team can take over using the documentation, or we can stay on for updates, changes and cost reviews on terms agreed up front. Alerts go to the people you choose.

Outgrowing your current hosting?

Tell us what your app does, how much traffic it gets and where it runs now, and we'll tell you whether AWS makes sense and roughly what it would cost each month.
